Gone but not forgotten.
My brother and I both graduated high school from Greene County Tech. College wasn't his thing. He went on to find a job he absolutely loved after high school. I think it's really important for students to know that a college degree does not make you a successful person. Casey was living proof of that.
In a December 2020 survey, 57% of college students agreed that higher education was no longer “worth the cost.” This, coupled with the fact that the trade and technical school market’s growth will reach 16 billion in 2021 puts trade schools at a steady footing.

GCT Class of 2024 (docx)
DownloadThis scholarship will need to go to a student who demonstrates financial need. Perhaps you didn't get a high enough ACT score or an athletic scholarship. We want to help you! Preference will go to a student going to a trade school, but all high school students seeking higher education are encouraged to apply. The check will be made out to the school.
No one can talk about Casey without talking about how helpful and thoughtful he was. He cared so much for everyone. We want this scholarship to benefit someone with a kind heart who wants to help others as well. Evidence of volunteer work is encouraged.
